It was via a tweet of technology reporter Benjamin Geskin which leaked the potential pricing of the upcoming Apple phone model. Geskin is a claimed source of information from everything that is happening inside the Apple world.
His tweet mentioned that the iPhone 8 models may arrive at three price options.
64 GB: 999$
256 GB: 1099$

The biggest 512 GB option can be even deemed as way pricier than the MacBook 12 inch 256 GB model option.
